Receive Jesus
Choosing to receive Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior is the most important decision you’ll ever make!
If thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation... For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.
Romans 10:9-10,13
By His grace, God has already done everything to provide salvation. Your part is simply to believe and receive.
Our Beliefs
It is difficult to tell all we believe in 8 sentences, but we make this statement of faith available to those who ask for one so they will know we are Bible-believing Christians. Listening to our teachings will give you much more information. We appreciate your interest in growing in the things of the Lord!
1. We believe the Bible is inspired and empowered by God, infallible, and authoritative.
2. We believe in one eternal God who exists as three separate persons; the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
3. We believe Jesus Christ is the Son of God, born of a virgin, lived a sinless life as He walked among men, demonstrated the authority and power of God in works and speech, died on the cross, rose from the dead on the third day, and is now seated at the right hand of God having accomplished all that is necessary for man’s salvation.
4. We believe it is essential for man to repent of sin and by faith receive the finished work of Christ by confessing Him as Lord Jesus Crist with his mouth and believing in his heart resulting in regeneration by the Holy Spirit.
5. We believe the Holy Spirit is continuing the work He started at Pentecost empowering believers to live a godly life and continue in all the works of Jesus.
6. We believe in the imminent return of Jesus and that those who have believed in Him will be resurrected to a heavenly dwelling in an incorruptible body, and those who do not believe will join Satan and his host in everlasting punishment.
7. We believe the true Church is composed of all born-again believers in Christ, regardless of denominational affiliation.
8. We believe all born-again believers have been commissioned to share the complete Gospel.
9. We Believe the Word of God is the most precious gift we have.
• The Bible is God’s Word to mankind.
It comforts and guides us daily. It tells us who we are and how we should live. When we make Jesus Lord of our lives, our sins are washed away and we become new creations. (See Matthew 26:28, John 3:3, and 2 Corinthians 5:17.)
• The Holy Spirit enables us to live in the presence of God.
Through the Baptism and gifts of the Holy Spirit, we mature and become bold witnesses for Christ. (See Acts 2:4, 1 Corinthians 12:10.)
• God wants us to have a working knowledge of the Word.
The Word instructs believers in every area of life. (See 2 Timothy 3:16.) Often, God confirms His Word with healings and miracles. (See Mark 16:20.)
• God answers prayer in natural and miraculous ways.
The power of prayer changes circumstances, situations, and people; defeats the enemy; and causes God’s people to be overcomers. (See James 5:16.)
• God’s principle of sowing and reaping releases blessing in our lives.
This divine principle is important in every aspect of life. When we give our finances, time, material goods and so forth, the blessings of heaven are poured out upon us. (See Malachi 3:10, 2 Corinthians 9:6.)
• We all need to become part of a church, a local body of believers.
It is not enough to pray and read the Bible ourselves. We need a church where we can have fellowship with believers and be nourished with the Word of God. (See Hebrews 10:25.)
• God Loves You and Wants You!
God loves you and wants to be your Father. The only way to the Father is through salvation in Jesus Christ. (See John 14:6.)
